If you have trouble finding our clinic please call us at 541-797-3136. Our BOSS physical therapy clinic is a Direct Access Provider – meaning that you may not need a physician’s referral in order to come in for an initial evaluation. Physical Therapy + Athletic Performance

Our Boss Sports Performance center is where rehabilitation meets athletic performance. Physical therapy will focuses on a comprehensive approach to injuries and injury prevention. Treatment encompasses evaluation of the injury and all contributing factors addressing deficiencies and weakness factoring into your injury. Unlike any other facility in central Oregon, our Boss Sports Performance center allows one to pursue improved fitness, athletic performance, and continue to progress once pain is gone. It is a state of the art facility based on an integrated model of wellness, athlete biomechanics lab, injury prevention, strength and conditioning, and rehabilitation.

Connor Brown received his bachelor’s degree from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado where he played collegiate soccer in addition to competing in cross country ski and bike races. His enjoyment of outdoor adventure naturally aligned with his desire to become a physical therapist and help others stay active with their own passions. He relocated to the Pacific Northwest to complete the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington.

Connor has expertise in general orthopedics, with a special interest in return to sports for various demographics and injuries. His practice scope focuses on sports medicine and the treatment of endurance athletes of all types, climbers, whitewater athletes, and team sport injuries. Connor has advanced training in wheelchair seating and prescription, running and cycling evaluation, bike fitting, and the treatment of climbing injuries. He additionally sees patients with concussion/vestibular, lower extremity amputee treatment, and advanced adaptive sport injuries.

When his is not working, Connor and his girlfriend, Nikki, can be found exploring wilds of Central Oregon on one their mountain bikes, in trail shoes, climbing gear, or on skis.   Then they cool off in a raft with their two dogs, Maverick and Goose.

John graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health and Human Performance from the University of Montana and received his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from the University of Utah. John then returned to the University of Montana and completed an Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency where he developed strong clinical reasoning skills, conducted research with the University of Montana faculty, mentored current DPT students in the clinic, and helped instruct courses for the University of Montana DPT Program. John is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and has completed his USA Weightlifting Level 1 Coach training.

John’s clinical interests include lower extremity injuries, ACL rehabilitation, and endurance sports related injuries.

In his free time, John enjoys spending time on his gravel bike, in his running shoes, in the weight room, or on his skis with his partner Laurel and their dog Blue.

Laura is a Corvallis native, and majored in Exercise Science graduating Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi where she played D1 collegiate volleyball. Laura then completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ. Following graduation, Laura had the opportunity to work in Vail, Colorado at the Steadman Clinic specializing as a Team Lead with Dr. Peter Millett, working with complex shoulder and knee cases.

Laura also worked at Howard Head Sports clinic and developed a good working relationship with Dr. Phlippon on post-operative rehab for hip arthroscopies. She then served as Clinic Director in Scottsdale Arizona before returning to Oregon. Laura is board certified in Orthopedics. Some of Laura’s favorite activities include snowboarding, playing volleyball, paddle boarding and hiking.
