Rebound’s Redmond Physical Therapy clinic is conveniently located at 1315 NE 4th Street near St Charles Redmond Hospital and in the heart of Redmond’s Health Care Community. Our 4th street clinic provides services that are diverse with extensive rehabilitative programs. Our Redmond physical therapy clinic is a Direct Access Provider – meaning that you may not need a physician’s referral in order to come in for an initial evaluation. Chris Atkin is a native of Boise, Idaho. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho before obtaining his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Provo, Utah.

Chris treats a wide variety of orthopedic conditions, with a clinical interest in shoulder rehabilitation. To further his skills, Chris plans to pursue an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification.

In his free time, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife, mountain biking, hiking, camping and weightlifting. He is also an avid whitewater rafter, and worked for several years as a whitewater rafting guide on the Snake River (Hells Canyon) and the Salmon River.

Erica has worked as an outpatient hand therapist for more than fifteen years, and has extensive post-operative and splinting experience. She previously spent 10 years managing outpatient hand therapy and occupational and physical therapy for Tuality Healthcare in the Portland area.

A graduate of the University of New Hampshire, Erica moved to the Pacific Northwest after college and worked in Olympia, WA, in home health and school system settings before moving to Portland, OR. In 2003, Erica transitioned to Tuality’s largest outpatient clinic, and has been working in hand therapy since that time. In 2007 she became the clinic program leader and began supervising the physical and occupational therapy staff members. Erica enjoys problem solving and the pursuit of ongoing learning needed for this complex specialty; and believes that collaboration with her patients is essential when helping them to return to their work and recreational activities.

Erica and her husband, Phillip, are enjoying the active, outdoor lifestyle that comes with the area.

Kaity Post graduated with her Bachelors Degree from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. After earning her DPT, Kaity worked in several outpatient clinics throughout various parts of the country. Prior to moving to Bend and becoming the clinic supervisor for Rebound’s Redmond clinic, she held a similar role in Portland as a physical therapist and clinic director.

Kaity treats a wide range of orthopedic diagnoses for patients of all ages and activity levels. Her passion to always been learning has lead Kaity to attended several continuing education courses for the treatment of the spine, joint mobilization, and rehabilitation of orthopedic injuries. She has a special interest in athletic injuries and sports medicine, the spine and sacroiliac joint dysfunction, and various other extremity dysfunctions.

With a young daughter and active family life, Kaity and her Husband enjoy being outside, pounding the trails around Central Oregon. The especially enjoy scampering up anything remotely climbable and skiing whenever and wherever the powder falls.  They are also a proud supporters of the Bend Rugby Club.

Laura received a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology from the University of Kansas in Lawrence, continuing on to a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Kansas Medical Center. Upon graduation, Laura moved to Portland where she worked as a physical therapist for several outpatient orthopedic clinics.

Laura went on to pursue advanced training in orthopedic manual therapy; she is a Certified Functional Manual Therapist (CFMT) through the Institute of Physical Art.  Laura has also completed coursework in visceral mobilization, vestibular rehabilitation, neuropathic pain treatment, and TMJ dysfunction. She enjoys working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, with a particular interest in chronic pain and multiple areas of pain that have not responded well to traditional treatments.

Outside of the clinic, Laura enjoys spending time with her husband and two young daughters. She enjoys Central Oregon’s sunshine and beautiful scenery; it is the perfect environment for her favorite activities of camping, golfing, horseback riding, and training for triathlons.

A native of Walla Walla, Washington, Nicolette Sapigao obtained a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University in California. Prior to PT school, she earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in Spanish and Education, and spent two years in Spain studying the language and doing missionary work. She is a former professional motocross rider, and at one point ranked third in the world among female motocross athletes.

Her professional experience in motorcycle-racing led Nicolette into the field of PT. She has extensive experience in outpatient orthopedic PT, and is a certified Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (STMT-1) practitioner. Nicolette is also a credentialed clinical instructor (CCI), she enjoys educating her community on various orthopedic conditions, post-operative care, and balance/fall prevention programs. Nicolette is fluent in Spanish and is passionate about bringing quality care to the Hispanic community of Central Oregon.

Nicolette’s interests outside of work include motorcycling, snowboarding, hiking, bulldogs and health/nutritional studies. She enjoys spending time with her husband, David, and their young daughters, Grace and Brielle.

Peter received his Master’s in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine, Florida in 1997. With an impressive career as a Physical Therapist, Peter has vast experience within the field with expertise in orthopedics and sports medicine. Peter is Board Certified as a Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS) and holds national certifications in Strength & Conditioning (CSCS) and Athletic Training (ATC).

Before entering the field of physical therapy, Peter obtained a Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology and Fitness Management (MA) from New York University, and a Bachelor’s in Marketing & Communications from Florida Southern College. He began his healthcare career working in the fitness industry and subsequently corporate fitness and cardiac rehabilitation settings. Throughout his career, Peter has had the opportunity to work with professional, Olympic, and amateur athletes of all ages.

He uses a variety of manual therapy techniques, yoga, Pilates, aquatics, and advanced sport conditioning strategies to help his PT and private clients achieve optimal function, fitness, and/or sports performance. Peter and his wife, Tabitha, live in Bend and enjoy hiking with their dogs, biking, kayaking, and bird watching.

Originally from Colorado Springs, Sarah Stafford received her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Pacific Lutheran University (Tacoma, Washington). While earning her degree she competed on the rowing and swimming teams. She went on to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) and Masters of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Montana in Missoula.

Sarah enjoys treating patients of all ages. She is passionate about guiding people through the rehabilitation process. Her goal is to restore function and improve quality of life. Sarah’s unique dual degree, has strengthened her ability to advocate for patient needs by identifying complex barriers to healthcare access.  She is passionate about collaborating with community members to develop and implement targeted solutions to these barriers. Sarah feels that Rebound’s dedication to the community and high quality of patient care align perfectly with her values as a healthcare professional.

In her free time, Sarah loves spending time outside. Her athletic nature and affection for hiking has pushed her to climb the Colorado “fourteeners,” consisting of 58 peaks exceeding 14000ft.  Sarah also enjoys paddle boarding, playing with any dog she can, and travel. Her favorite trip being backpacking through New Zealand.
