Laura received a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology from the University of Kansas in Lawrence, continuing on to a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Kansas Medical Center. Upon graduation, Laura moved to Portland where she worked as a physical therapist for several outpatient orthopedic clinics.
Laura went on to pursue advanced training in orthopedic manual therapy; she is a Certified Functional Manual Therapist (CFMT) through the Institute of Physical Art. Laura has also completed coursework in visceral mobilization, vestibular rehabilitation, neuropathic pain treatment, and TMJ dysfunction. She enjoys working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, with a particular interest in chronic pain and multiple areas of pain that have not responded well to traditional treatments.
Outside of the clinic, Laura enjoys spending time with her husband and two young daughters. She enjoys Central Oregon’s sunshine and beautiful scenery; it is the perfect environment for her favorite activities of camping, golfing, horseback riding, and training for triathlons.
