Position: Occupational Therapist/Certified Hand Therapist 

Rebound Physical Therapy and Hand Therapy of Central Oregon is seeking a full-time, experienced (minimum three years) Occupational Therapist/Certified Hand Therapist to join our growing outpatient hand therapy practice.  This position will work closely with two Fellowship Trained Hand Surgeons, plus other Orthopedic specialists, and our team of CHTs to evaluate and treat a variety of non-operative and post-operative upper extremity conditions. 

Responsibilities:

  • The OT/CHT will develop and administer detailed treatment programs with specific goals defined by the patient’s capacity and tolerance and in accordance with the physician orders.
  • Educate patients about the bio-mechanics of their body’s natural movement to prevent additional injury and to promote wellness.
  • Communicate with physicians, team members and your patients to ensure a consistent level of care.
  • Perform daily documentation.

Rebound Physical Therapy is seeking a full-time Medical Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist.

Rebound is a well-respected and independent physical therapy provider specializing in sports medicine, rehabilitation and spinal care at multiple locations throughout Central Oregon. The position will be based at Rebound’s Administrative office located near the Old Mill District. The schedule will consist of Monday through Friday for a total of 40-hours per week.

The AR Specialist works collaboratively and efficiently with the AR Team toward the achievement of department goals. Rebound has a full-time job opening for an Assistant Front Office (FO) Operations Coordinator.

This position works in collaboration with the Lead FO Operations Coordinator to implement best practices for clinic front office processes including: planning; staff communications; customer service; systems; procedures; training, and scheduling. Serves as liaison to Front Office staff, Clinic Managers, and Administrative team.

Duties and Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Lead FO Operations Coordinator, the position may be responsible for the following:

  • Assist with HR & FO management in the recruiting and interviewing process for front office personnel.
  • Arranges for system logins and access rights for front office staff.
  • Provides front office orientation and on-going training to new FO hires and existing employees on an as needed basis.
  • Performs a variety of leadership and administrative duties which requires the exercise of independent judgment, the application of technical skills, and a detailed knowledge of the activities and procedures specific to each clinic.
  • Creates and updates resources such as Front Office administrative and system manuals and front office forms. Provides Front Office necessary changes.
  • Flexibility about providing FO coverage at all clinics during absenteeism due to vacations and/or personal leave of absences.

• Daily Plan of Care (POC) handling and Delayed Charges Log (DCL) management.
• Preparing a variety of weekly and monthly reports for all clinics such as patient inactivity and case discharging.
• Safeguarding patient information and maintaining strictest confidentiality, adhering to all HIPA guidelines/regulations.

Education & Experience Qualifications
• Data entry experience.
• Excellent computer skills including MS Office Suite (Excel, Word and Outlook).
• At least one – two years of experience in a similar role.
• Basic knowledge of medical billing and medical front office duties, and experience with an EMR system is an asset.
• Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with patients, employees, therapists, physicians, and the community.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
The Medical Billing Assistant is expected to work in a busy administrative office and remotely with ten physical therapy clinics. Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment including a computer and printer. The job may be physically demanding as the Medical Billing Assistant may need to sit, lift and stand for extended periods. They must also have vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone

Rebound Physical Therapy is seeking a part-time Medical Receptionists for one of its clinics located in Bend. The part-time schedule is expected to be 30-32 hours per week.

The Receptionist works in collaboration with the Front Office Manager and staff to implement best practices for front office processes including: planning; staff communications; customer service; systems, training and scheduling.
