We are thrilled to welcome Scott Elms, PT, MSPT to Rebound and our Work Injury Program!
Scott is involved in developing and growing Rebound’s return to work and injury prevention services such as pre-employment, testing, PCEs, WCEs, work hardening and conditioning and/or ergonomic assessments.
Since graduating from American International College in Springfield, Massachusetts with his Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy, Scott has practiced all over the country in a variety of settings; primarily in orthopedics and with a diverse patient population. Among his memorable experiences include working in pediatrics with disabled children in schools and being on the rodeo circuit with Justin Boots’ Sports Medicine Team.
Scott has an extensive background with successfully helping businesses establish occupational injury prevention and rehabilitation services, and corporate wellness programs designed to educate their employees on all aspects of workplace safety. He’s passionate about teaching and empowering his patients with the ability to take care of themselves so they can return to work and the activities they enjoy.
Scott Elms enjoys a wide variety of outdoor activities including hiking, kayaking, skiing, motorcycling and horseback riding. His indoor hobbies are woodworking and leatherworking. Of course we wanted just a little more background on this new addition to the team, the important things like his favorite song and Instagram ‘handle…’ This is what we got: I have no bookface or twinker or intragrammer or whatever! I’m sure my favorite song is probably a country song from Garth, let’s go with “The Dance” by Garth. And movie character hmmmmmm…. It might have to be, Dwayne Johnson, He seems like a fun guy to hang out with.
Thanks Scott, welcome to the Rebound family!
