Welcome Lindsay Lund, PT, DPT, CMPT!

Lindsay Lund PT

Please join us in extending a giant and warm welcome to Lindsay Lund, PT! She will be joining the crew at our West clinic and we know this is going to be good!

Lindsay is a collegiate soccer player turned physical therapist and has most recently been practicing in Eugene, Oregon; but, like most of us, could not resist the calling of the work and adventure opportunities Central Oregon has to offer.

Get to know our new team member and make sure to say ‘Hello’ when you see her out on a trail this summer!

Rebound Physical Therapy: If not soccer, what other sport would you love to excel at?
Lindsay Lund: Mountain Biking.

RPT: What professional athlete would you consider a role model?
LL: Bethany Hamilton. I admire her courage to return to her sport after a life changing injury.

RPT: Number one destination/activity on your bucket list?
LL: Mountain biking in Switzerland and/or Austria

RPT: What has been the most surprising thing about a career in physical therapy?
LL: I have been amazed at how eclectic of an approach PTs can take when providing care and the numerous directions there are for career opportunities within physical therapy.

RPT: If you were to attend thanksgiving at the home of a celebrity, who would t be?
LL: Bill and Melinda Gates. I am inspired by the work their foundation does throughout the world and would love the opportunity to discuss it with them.

RPT: Inspirational quote? Book?
LL: “Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did. So throw off your bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor, catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” Mark Twain

RPT: Pump up song?
LL: Walking with a Ghost by Tegan and Sara

RPT: Anyone person you tend to get confused for?
LL: I get asked if I am related to a lot of people I have never met – not because I have the same last name. I seem to have a ‘very familiar’ face. So much for being a unique individual;)

RPT: Ocean or mountain?
LL: Mountain

RPT: Something about DePauw University we would not know…
LL: One of the founders of ESPN, Bill Rasmussen, graduated from DePauw University.
