Mike Doden PT, OCS

Mike completed his undergraduate degree at University of Iowa and Iowa State University. Mike earned a Masters degree in Physical Therapy at Rockhurst University in Kansas City in 1996. After five years of clinical practice, Mike completed a one-year post-graduate residency in orthopedic physical therapy at the University of Wisconsin. Mike has been a clinic manager for Rebound Physical Therapy since 1999. Mike has been a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) since 2002. He has had several opportunities to work internationally to round out his work experience. He was a medical team provider for a two-week medical mission in impoverished areas in Ecuador in 2002. In 2004 he obtained a certificate in orthopedic manual therapy at Curtin University in Perth, Australia. Since 2004, he has had mutiple traveling assignments with the U.S. Snowboard Team as a team physical therapist covering several events including two Junior World Championships in both Europe and Asia, as well as several US Snowboard Grand Prix events in the US. When he is not at work, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife and children. He enjoys the outdoors through white-water kayaking, family raft trips, snowboarding, mountain biking, and fly fishing. Clinical interests include the treatment of spine and sports injuries. He also enjoys performing golf swing motion analysis for correction and prevention of golf related injuries, and has taken advanced courswork in spine and TMJ care. Mike’s motivation is to see the practice continue supporting local and global causes that impacts the lives of those most in need.
