I have just completed a course of 28 physical therapy sessions with Kailey Hanks. In July of this year, I injured my shoulder, necessitating open shoulder surgery the following month. After surgery, I was given a prescription for physical therapy, and was fortunate enough to have Kailey as my physical therapist.
Over the course of my treatment, I have found Kailey to be extremely knowledgeable of her field, very professional in her manner, and also very personable as an individual. From the beginning, thorough assessment of my shoulder and throughout the course of my treatment, she made it a point to explain the goals of my treatment, chart my progress (through regular measurements), and provide me with the instruction needed for me to do exercises at home. In addition, Kailey made sure to provide my doctor with written assessments of my progress. As a result, I have made tremendous progress in regaining use of my shoulder, and can once again easily manage all of my daily activities.
I especially liked being able to come early in the morning, and appreciated that Kailey had a couple of days during her work week when she was able to accommodate my preference for early appointments. Having early morning appointments available is definitely a plus.
Even as I was completing my last session with Kailey, she made sure to let me know that I could call her anytime if I have questions, which I greatly appreciate. She also put together a regimen of at-home exercises so that I can further strengthen my shoulder over time. It was this thoroughness and focus on the patient that made it clear to me that Kailey cares very much about my welfare as her patient.
Overall, I found my experience with Kailey and Redmond Rebound to be a very positive one, and other excellent staff members ~ If I were ever in need of physical therapy again, I would not hesitate to return to Rebound, and seek Kailey’s assistance.
