Trudi Trygg PT

After many successful years in orthopedic private practice in Palo Alto, California, Trudi relocated to enjoy the great outdoors of Central Oregon.

Trudi graduated from UC-Santa Cruz with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and then went on to earn her BS and certification in Physical Therapy from UC-San Francisco. She has extensive experience as a Clinical Instructor for UC-San Francisco and Samuel Merritt physical therapy programs and holds an Advanced Clinical Instructor Certification from the APTA.

Trudi has worked extensively in post-op rehabilitation, throwing sports injuries, gait analysis and athletic shoe fitting as well as pain management (specifically for CRPS). Having raised a pro baseball player, she has worked with baseball players from Little League through high school. And as a competitive swimmer in her youth, Trudi also enjoys working with swimming and water polo shoulder rehabilitation patients. Trudi’s focus is for patients to achieve full functional return to sports and activities. Her love for teaching has given her the opportunity to educate her local community in California on back care, injury prevention and sports medicine. Trudi hopes to be able to give back to her new community in Bend in the same way.

When not at work, Trudi loves hiking, biking, snow shoeing and skiing with her husband, Bob. She also enjoys visits to Austin, Texas, home to her son and his wife.
