John grew up in Eagle River, Alaska and obtained his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Alaska-Anchorage. Afterwards he worked in behavioral health with adolescents for a year before deciding that physical therapy was his first passion. John attended graduate school in San Diego, CA and earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. After graduating from Physical Therapy school, John moved to Seattle to complete a post-graduate residency and fellowship in Orthopedics and Manual Physical Therapy through the Ola Grimsby Institute.

John specializes in acute and chronic neck and low back injuries, and shoulder, pelvis, hip, knee and ankle/ foot injuries. His clinical training has given him exposure and training in the diagnosis and treatment for a broad range of pathologies affecting movement and causing pain.

John’s hobbies include snowboarding, hiking and running with his dog Kenai, fishing, and cooking up good food with friends
