Erik Romsdahl PT, DPT
Erik comes to us from St. Paul, MN. Avid in athletics growing up, he went through physical therapy for injuries of his own and felt drawn to the profession early on. Erik first earned a degree in Spanish from Minnesota State University- Mankato, and then obtained his doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. During PT school, his Spanish speaking abilities allowed him to serve a very diverse patient population at internships in Minneapolis, MN and Palm Springs, CA. While in school, he developed a Couch-to-5K running program for his community that helped individuals recognize and overcome their barriers to movement and exercise; principles he continues to use in his physical therapy practice today. Erik has experience in numerous settings of physical therapy, including outpatient orthopedics, acute care, skilled nursing facilities, and neurological rehabilitation. His clinical interests involve musculoskeletal rehabilitation and balance/gait training. He enjoys working with patients of all ages and abilities to enable them to achieve their goals after surgery, injury, or other trauma. During his free time, Erik enjoys lifting weights, triathlons, hiking, snowboarding, golfing, music, and cheering on his beloved MN Vikings and Timberwolves.
