Eric Runnels PT, OCS - Clinic Manager
In 1996, Eric earned his Physical Therapy degree from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, graduating with Special Distinction. He spent his first ten years as a Physical Therapist serving the Norman Campus community at the University of Oklahoma. Because of his passion for treating sports related injuries, Eric earned certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) in 2000. In his spare time, Eric completed additional coursework and a thesis necessary to obtain a Masters of Science in Health and Sport Sciences degree with an emphasis in exercise physiology, finishing in 2003.
In recent years, Eric has completed numerous continuing education courses with a special interest in biomechanics, conditions, and treatment of injuries associated with the lower extremities. Eric became a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) in 2011.
Throughout his career, Eric has volunteered his time as a medical team provider for both amateur and professional events in a variety of sports including tennis, football, basketball, running and cycling. He is an avid fan of college athletics and welcomes all discussions about the topic. Eric truly enjoys the Central Oregon lifestyle and loves the many outdoor opportunities available. Perhaps you will see him out on the trails training for his next marathon.
