Physical Therapist Assistant – Part Time – Redmond, OR

Rebound Physical Therapy is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) position.

The PTA will be primarily based in Rebound’s Redmond Clinic but may have opportunities to provide coverage at Rebound’s multiple clinics. The schedule will generally consist of 16-24 hours per week. The position could potentially transition into full-time.

The PTA works as part of a team to provide physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of the Clinic Director. The PTA will provide a variety of physical therapy techniques which follow the Clinic Director’s plan of care for the patients including: therapeutic exercise, functional training, deep soft tissue massage, and physical modalities such as electrotherapy and ultrasound. The PTA may also assist the CD and physical therapists by working with individuals to prevent loss of mobility by implementing fitness and wellness-oriented programs for healthier and more active life styles.

Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) – Full Time – Bend, OR

Rebound Physical Therapy is searching for a full-time COTA to join its industrial based rehabilitation practice.

Under the direction of Rebound’s OT Director, the COTA will work with patients providing rehabilitative services in our Industrial Rehabilitation setting. COTAs will work with a network of doctors, staff therapists, aides, and other multi-disciplinary staff to deliver the best patient care and positive clinical outcomes for Rebound patients.

Primary responsibilities include providing evidence-based treatment to patients, following treatment plans for maximal progress developed in collaboration with occupational and physical therapy, and working with patients who have spine, upper, and lower extremity orthopedic injuries.

Candidates should meet the following requirements:

  • Associates Degree and Passing of a National certification exam required of a COTA.
  • Currently licensed or registered as a COTA in the State of Oregon.

Rebound Physical Therapy is seeking a part-time Personal Trainer & Fitness Instructor for one of its clinics located in Sunriver. The clinic is located within the Sunriver Homeowners Association Recreation Center (SHARC).

Rebound Physical Therapy is a well-respected, progressive therapist-owned practice with multiple clinics located throughout Central Oregon. Our practice specializes in orthopedics, sports medicine and spine care, and we are official PT providers for the US Ski and Snowboard Team. The Personal Trainer & Fitness Instructor helps Rebound patients/clients achieve their fitness and health goals through motivating and educating them.

Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Working with a wide variety of clients, identifying their goals (e.g. increase strength, improve fitness, weight loss) and developing personalized programs for them. May assist individual with injury rehabilitation or specialty conditions such as diabetes or obesity).
  • By conducting one-to-one and/or group sessions, the personal trainer coaches and motivates their client or clients through their exercise program. The sessions need to be designed to challenge the client yet fun, motivating, and always be a step towards to the client’s goals. One of the responsibilities as a Personal Trainer & Fitness Instructor will be to conduct three 30 – 60 minute classes per week to SHARC members.
  • The position assesses, discusses, motivates, and teaches clients how to improve their fitness, strength or physique. The position records, tracks progress, and monitors health, weight, fitness, and strength so that they can constantly adjust programs to challenge their client.
  • As Personal Trainer & Fitness Instructor for Rebound, the person will be available to represent the Company at various events, lectures, camps and other educational opportunities, and to promote Rebound’s training and fitness programs.

Requirements

  • Must be a Certified Personal Trainer, a Certificate issued by the National Academy of Sports Medicine is an asset.

The position will be based at Rebound’s Administrative office located near the Old Mill District. The schedule will generally consist of Monday through Friday for a total of 36-40 hours per week. The position is responsible for collecting, posting and extracting charges, reviewing of data entry in Rehab Toolkit for accuracy, and following up on errors to verify they’ve been corrected. The required qualifications include:

The position will be based at Rebound’s Administrative office located near the Old Mill District. The schedule will consist of Monday through Friday for a total of 40-hours per week.

The AR Specialist works collaboratively and efficiently with the AR Team toward the achievement of department goals. The position is responsible for working with patients in a way that demonstrates Rebound’s commitment to excellent patient service. The goal is to ensure their accounts are processed correctly with insurance providers and in a timely manner while establishing appropriate expectations as to the patients’ responsibilities.

Education and Experience

The Medical Insurance Verification Assistant is responsible for expediting the administrative requirements for patient referrals, dealing directly with health plans or referring physicians’ offices and ensuring proper notifications/authorizations have been obtained in a timely manner.
